Two students from Nagaland to watch moon landing with PM

Two students from Nagaland - Aleyzeza Leyri and Shlok Mundhra have been selected from the state to witness the ‘Chandrayan-2’ moon landing live with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 7. 


Leyri is a Class 10 student of Fernwood School, Kohima while Mundhra, also in Class 10, studies in Dimapur’s Hollotoli School.


Along with 69 students selected from all over India, the duo will witness the landing with Modi at the ISRO Control Room, ISRO Telemetry, Tracking and Command Network (ISTRAC) facility in Bengaluru, Karnataka on September 7 at 1:55 a.m.


The students were selected to represent their respective States or Union Territories after winning “Space Quiz 2019” organised by MyGov.in in collaboration with the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).
