The Regional Transport Authority (RTA), Wokha conducted a riding test for applicants seeking issuance of two-wheeler taxi permits at the office compound of the District Transport Officer (DTO), Wokha on May 20.
Out of 54 registered candidates, 43 appeared for the test while 11 remained absent.
The test was conducted by a board comprising Khughavi P Swu, Assistant Regional Transport Officer (Enforcement) as Convener with Chumthungo Humtsoe, Assistant Enforcement Inspector and Asaibe Guing, Motor Vehicle Inspector as members.
It was conducted in accordance with the public notice issued by the RTA, Wokha for applicants seeking issuance of two-wheeler taxi permits.
The process was overseen by the Extra Assistant Commissioner (Transport) to ensure smooth conduct of the riding test.
