UCO Bank holds MSME & Agri Resource Carnival

Kolkata, August 12 (MExN): Resource, MSME, Retail and Agriculture Carnival Camp was organised by UCO Bank on August 12 in Biswanath Charali city, Assam. Riyas K M Deputy General Manager from the Bank's Head Office, Kolkata was present in the camp. 

Currently, UCO Bank is organising Resource, MSME, Retail and Agriculture Carnival all over India. UCO Bank is currently providing many loan and deposit products to its customers at competitive rates. Many loan products of the bank are being provided at lower interest rates than other banks. UCO Bank is currently providing car loans to its customers at the lowest interest rates along with no processing and documentation charges, stated a press release. 

Zonal Manager Narendra Pratap Singh formally inaugurated the programme. In his welcome address, Singh reaffirmed the bank’s commitment to serving customers in the Jorhat zone with efficiency and dedication. UCO Bank is not just meeting financial needs promptly but also actively contributing to Assam’s socio-economic growth, he stated.

Under its 2025-26 campaign, the Jorhat zone has already sanctioned over Rs 235 Crore in loans to 3,221 beneficiaries, furthering financial inclusion across the region.

Deputy General Manager, Riyas K M informed about the achievements made by the Bank in the financial year 2024-25 which include deposits of more than Rs 2.93 Lakh Crore, advances of more than Rs 2.19 Lakh Crore and business of more than Rs 5.13 Lakh Crore. 

Deputy Zonal Head of UCO Bank, Jorhat Zone, Hasan Ejaz Hashmi, MSME Head, Amit Kumar, Branch Manager of Charali Branch, Vishal Kumar and other officers Chandra Sekhar Jani, Moin Akhtar Ansari and Anima Sharma Bhattacharya, Branch Manager of Tezpur, Anil Kumar, Branch Manager of Gohpur, Somnath Ghoshal, Branch Manager of Gingia, Anwaya Mukherjee and Branch Manager of Helem Tapas Kumar Sahu  were also present.
