ULB Election: Kekhrieselhou to contest from Ward-9 Midland

The thanksgiving cum official campaign kick-off programme of Kekhrieselhou Angami (Neiu Metha), NDPP official candidate for ULB election 2024 to Ward-9 Midland under Kohima Municipal Council took place today at Middle Midland, Kohima.

Addressing the gathering, Kekhrieselhou Angami solicited the support of the electorates in the upcoming ULB elections, scheduled for June 26. He said that his priority will be towards health and education sector and also youth and women empowerment through skill development. He also expressed his desire to improve drainage system, waste management, sustainable development and also to create Midland as a model colony.

Atanu Theyo, PS to minister for women resources development & horticulture and Obed Kent also spoke at the programme. Pastor Neisalie Rossi, MBC offered blessing prayer for candidate. The programme was chaired by Madi Koso, president NDPP Midland unit while welcome address was delivered by Ketholel Tase, general secretary NDPP Midland Unit.
