Vezito Tetseo, an intending candidate for ULB election 2024 for Ward-11 (Hebron-II) under Phek Town Council, today expressed his desire to focus towards a Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Hebron-II colony.
Apart from other basic infrastructural development like road, water and electricity in the ward, he said “One of my key concerns is about human resource development by organising workshop/seminar especially with young people by honing their skills, talents basing on their interests.”
Talking to The Morung Express, Tetseo who is a social entrepreneur by profession, said that he wanted to propel entrepreneurship mindset among the youth and also support the start-up in the ward.
Other area of concern, he said, includes; forming SHGs for women, career guidance/counseling program for the students & children.
Tetseo, a founder and team leader of ‘Pick a Book Foundation,” said that election is not only meant for rich people, “but it should be for those people who is passionate about community development.”
“Election is not about money and power, it is about improving the lives of the community,” Tetseo said.
“Value your vote. Your vote is your ticket to your future. Your vote has the ability to improve your life,” he added.
