A local guarantor is also required for obtaining an ILP.
In order to enforce checking of ILP, an Inner Line Check Gate at Chumukedima is being manned by Nagaland Police and every non-indigenous person has to produce the ILP before the Police. The ILP holder is further instructed to report before the OC, Police station of their destination place immediately after the arrival.
