Dimapur, July 28 (MExN): The Nagaland Electrical Contractors Union has warned that any entities executing internal wiring works violating Government order would be penalized with legal action.
“This is to notify all concern that in spite of Power department publicity and Nagaland Electrical Contractors periodically reminding through the media regarding execution of electrical works, it is found that still some government departments are executing internal wiring works violating the government’s standing order and Indian electricity rules and Act especially in Mon, Phek, Tuensang and Peren districts. Henceforth the concern department and individuals are warned that NECU will take legal actions against the defaulters” General Secretary of the union Kevichulie Chadi warned in a release.
Registered firms were also warned that as per resolution and government standing orders, lending of letter heads to unauthorized persons would invite stern action and their licenses would be cancelled.
“In this regard, district representatives are directed to be more vigilant and report to the union head office if any irregularity is found in their respective district” the release added.
