The physical assault on Naga Hoho Vice-President K.Keviletou by two gunmen in Kohima on Monday night has irked the United Naga Council (UNC). UNC chief KS Paul Leo while talking to Newmai News Network tonight has said that all the sixteen Naga tribes under UNC who are the constituent units of the Naga Hoho have taken strong exception to the incident of assault on the Naga Hoho Vice-President. The United Naga Council demanded the culprits to identify themselves and then spell out their motive behind their act of assaulting the Naga Hoho leader. The UNC also urged the concerned authorities to book the culprit at the earliest time possible and award befitting punishment.
