Dimapur, December 16 (MExN): The Dimapur Police on Tuesday recovered the body of an unidentified male from the FCI Siding area near Railway Bazar.
Dy Commissioner of Police (Crime)/ PRO, Dimapur stated that the Police acted upon a written memo received from the Station Manager of NF Railway, Dimapur, informing about the discovery of the body.
“The duty party rushed to the place of occurrence and conducted inquest.” The deceased is an approximately 40-45-year-old male, described as having a dark complexion and wearing a black striped shirt with blue pants.
The cause of death is suspected to be due to illness, it stated. On completion of all legal formalities, the dead body was shifted to District Hospital Dimapur Morgue for PM examination/identification, the police added.
The police have appealed to claimant, relatives or friends of the deceased to contact the Officer-in-Charge, GRPS, Dimapur @ 7085055021.
