Dimapur, August 30 (MExN): The Police in Dimapur on Saturday recovered the body of an unidentified man suspected to have been hit by a train.
According to a police official, a written memo was received from the Station Manager of NF Railway, Dimapur, at around 7:00 AM stating that an unknown male person was lying beside the track at KM-256/6-7 between DMV and RxR.
A duty party rushed to the spot and found the body of a non-local male, aged approximately 40-45 years.
The deceased was described as having a dark complexion and was wearing a grey shirt, black pants, and a blue half-pant.
After the completion of all legal formalities, the body was shifted to the District Hospital Morgue for post-mortem examination and identification.
