Kohima, June 20 (MExN): Union Minister of State for Housing & Urban Affairs, Government of India Kaushal Kishore arrived at Kohima today.
On his arrival today, he inspected 37 BN BSF Chedema, Kohima. He was received by Vinod Kumar, Commandant 37 BN BSF at officers' institute 37 BN BSF.
He participated in plantation drive of tree saplings carried out in camp area and later had an interaction session with the Jawans of the BN (Sainik Sammelam). During the interaction, various aspects on the benefits of Yoga were addressed by the minister and appreciated the jawans for their sacrificial and selfless dedication towards contributing for safeguard & security of the country.
International Day of Yoga in Kisama
Union Minister Kaushal Kishore will grace International Day of Yoga 2022 on June 21 at Naga Heritage Village, Kisama.
The programme will start from 5:30 am onwards. It will be held under the aegis of Directorate of Health & Family Welfare, Nagaland in association with CPWD under the Ministry of MOHUA, New Delhi. The Union Minister will address the gathering at 6:20 am.
It will be followed by live screening of address by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Nagaland Health & Family Welfare, Minister S Pangnyu Phom will also deliver speech while welcome address will be delivered by Nagaland Urban Development And Municipal Affairs, Advisor Dr Neikiesalie (Nicky) Kire.
Common Yoga Protocol will be led by Patanjali Yog Samity, Kohima.
