Uniqlo India team visits Nagaland University, explores collaboration

Kohima, April 24 (MExN): A delegation from Uniqlo India visited Nagaland University on Friday and held interactions with faculty members, administrators and students to explore avenues for collaboration.

The visiting team included Kenji Inoue, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer; Kanta Nagasaki, Store HR Manager; and Kamlika Deka, General Manager (Human Resources).

During the visit, the delegation interacted with senior faculty members and the university administration on academic and professional engagement opportunities.

Prof Lungsang Zeliang, Convenor of the Placement Cell, welcomed the delegation and appreciated the growing association between the university and Uniqlo India.

The interaction session was attended by members of the Placement Cell, Heads of Departments from Management, Commerce and Linguistics (COEFL), Deputy Registrar Metsizolie Medoze, and officials from the Investment and Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN).

The visit also featured a seminar attended by postgraduate students of Management and Commerce, including those enrolled in BBA programmes, as well as students of Japanese studies and other departments.

The engagement is seen as a positive step towards future collaboration, with potential for strengthening academic-industry linkages and enhancing professional opportunities for students.
