My attention has been drawn towards the unserviceable roadside drainage constructed by some Government agencies some years back from City Tower to Court Junction. The said drainage has been left open all these years as a result of which it has been filled up with all the garbages and has been clogged up in several places. As a result,water does not flow from these drains anymore and spillover to the roads when it rains causing immense nuisance to vehicles passing through these roads when raining. During dry days, they serve as a reservoir tank for sewage water as they have been blocked and does not flow. On second thought, these drains looks like as though they were not constructed to serve any purpose, but to serve as an avenue for some politicians to draw money from the Government's exchequer on the pretext of drainage. I am not aware of the department that is responsible for clearing up these drains, but hopelessly hoping that the concerned department will clear up these drains to give passage to the sewages to flow freely.
