DIMAPUR, July 1 (MExN): An emergency meeting of United Sangtam Likhum Pumji was held at Circuit House Dimapur on 30th June 2011 to discuss about maintenance of peace within its jurisdiction. This was stated in a press note from M. Yanghose Sangtam Press Secretary USLP. The United Sangtam Likhum Pumji decided to strictly adhere to the Land Mark resolution no.1 & 2 of the Historic Summit of ENPO formulated on December 18, 2007 at Tuensang Town, in the common interest and commitment of Naga unity.
The meeting re-affirmed that there should be no bloodshed, threat, intimation, factional fight or any form of violence within USLP jurisdiction. United Sangtam Likhum Pumji will not extend public co-operation to any group/faction/individual and appealed to all the national workers to maintain peace within its jurisdiction. Non-compliance to the above resolution will be considered as a serious threat to the aforesaid resolutions and USLP will take its own course of action as deemed fit.
