Dimapur, May 17 (MExN): Venieyi Public School organised a teachers’ training programme at the VPS Hall on May 15 with Dr Thebi Joseph Shupao as the resource person.
The training programme was conducted in three sessions covering the topics “Teaching with Purpose: Rediscovering the Joy of Being a Teacher”, “Understanding NEP 2020: What It Means for Teachers”, and “Effective Classroom Management and Student Engagement.”
During the sessions, the resource person highlighted the importance of purposeful teaching, adapting to the vision and objectives of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and creating a positive and engaging classroom environment for effective learning.
The programme also emphasised the evolving role of teachers in nurturing students through innovative and learner-centred approaches.
All teaching staff members along with the proprietor of the school attended the programme.
The school authority expressed gratitude to the resource person for conducting the insightful sessions and stated that the programme greatly benefited the faculty members.
