Dimapur, July 11 (MExN): Office of the Padumpukhuri Village Level Organization (VLO) was formally inaugurated by Athel O Lotha, Joint Secretary and Mission Director of NSRLM on July 9.
Athel O Lotha, the chief guest, expressed happiness to learn of the full cooperation and support given by the village council members to the women SHGs, stated a press release received here. She also said Padumpukhuri is one of the villages which showed transparency and trustworthiness by doing a joint venture Income Generating Activities through opening a daily market for sustainable livelihoods of SHGs.
Meanwhile, Menuoneituo Chadi, COO Livelihoods and District In-charge highlighted about the core values and aims of NSRLM and talked about proper utilization of Community Investment Fund (CIF) and various other funds.
M. Yimok Phom, BPM Chumukedima encouraged the SHGs to stand out as the best SHGs and also to stand out as model SHGs.
Chenton Konyak, Area Coordinator and DMMU, BMMU Staff also accompanied the chief guest. Village Council Members and VDB Secretary, GBs and VLO members led by its President and all the SHGs were present during the program.
On the same day, VLO office at Diphupar A was also inaugurated.
