Vote: Power to change your future

What a time to live and witness. We are all living in a perpetual mess. Chaos seems to be our daily news and our only hope is God. Our inaction is only leading to more monumental breakdown. It is a deep scar. None of us will have positive things to say about the current situation. Our inefficient leaders have brought little solution to this mess. The public on the other hand have been equally responsible for this making. The candidates have entered countless homes to buy votes. Many people have accepted the money. They are selling their integrity and wisdom at the expense of money. Neighbours have started to fight over party differences, some are bullying others to vote at gun point, houses are ransacked and everyone is losing their light in this darkness. If money is more important than one’s integrity, human relation and good government, we are a doomed state. I received the news of a family who denied taking money from the candidate. Instead the mother replied, “We cannot afford to disappoint God. We will support clean election as emphasized by ABAM,” and rejected the offer of free money. We need more people like them to shape our society. In fact, if we do not accept the money or demand money for our votes, the candidates will never spend money in the wrong means. After election, they will collect more money to recover their debts and eat more without contributing to the growth of the state. The churches have been actively involved in spreading the importance of clean election everywhere. Now the final call is all about your moral fibre. Moral uprightness is an individual choice. Your choice will decide the kind of leaders who will lead our people. The leader’s part is over. It’s time to do our part. Vote for the right candidate. Support clean election. Don’t sell your votes or bark like a dog for the next five years. Before you go for voting think about

• The horrible roads • Irregular electricity

• The bridges falling off

• Stable government who will function diligently to provide the salary of government servants on time!

• Vote for a government who will not give you chance to say “Scholarship khoi?”

• Vote for your future Before you go for voting please pray and remember God. Vote wisely.
