Kohima, February 21 (MExN): Water supply has been “temporarily disrupted” in several areas under the Kohima Municipal jurisdiction due to a mainline breakage near the LG Showroom at D Block.
In a statement, PHED Kohima Urban Division SDO, Er Ahito K Awomi informed that the affected areas include Phoolbari, Midland, D Block, New Market, Naga Bazar, Kitsubozou, Kezekie, Themezie, L Khel, Krouliezou, Bayavü, High School, and Secretariat Area.
The department was actively working for necessary redressal at the earliest, the statement added.
The SDO stated that the department is actively working to address the issue at the earliest. Residents in the affected areas have been urged to bear with the temporary inconvenience, as the department assured that all possible measures are being taken to complete repairs as soon as possible.
