Kohima, January 25 (MExN): The 62nd Wrestling Meet of the Western Angami Youth Organisation (WAYO) will be held on February 6 at Khouchiezhie, Kohima Local Ground.
According to WAYO, Kovi Meyase, Commissioner and Secretary to the Government of Nagaland, will be the Special Guest, while Theyievilie Suohumvü, President, Western Angami Public Organisation (WAPO), will be the Guest of Honour.
The inaugural programme is scheduled at 9 am and will be chaired by Dr Rü-ünguso Kuotsu, General Secretary, WAYO. Dr Kecha Seyie, Ex-Chairman, ACRC, will offer the invocation prayer, while the welcome address will be delivered by Pelesavi Rürhie, President, WAYO. A special song will be presented by Azeno Nakhro, and the oath will be administered to the wrestlers by Megozokho Hesielie, Wrestling Secretary, WAYO.
The prize sponsors for the Senior Category include the First Prize by Kekhrievor Kevichusa; Second Prize by Andeep Modi; Third Prize by Khotso Rürhie; Fourth Prize by Neinguvotuo Krose; and the Losing Quarter Finalists prize by Melie Nakhro.
The prize sponsors for the Under-15 Category include the First Prize by Kekhrielhoukho Sano; Second Prize by Viralhou Sechü; Third Prize by Ketoulhoukho Kuotsu; and Fourth Prize by Mego Seyie.
The patrons for the wrestling meet include Ketholelie Terhüja, Megolhou Dolie, Kedozokho Peseyie, Dievizo Nagi, Vikedosie Kruse, Rüüngutuo Sechü, Rovilhousie Miasalhou and Rajuselie Lhousa.
Mhieserietuo Punyu will officiate as Match Commissioner, while the referees and field judges will have Seyielhoukho Sechü as Chief Referee. Others include Megorietuo Chase, Mhiesilie Rhitso, Khrietuolie Usou, Amos Kikhi, Kekhrie Yhoshü, Mozolie Semou, and Neikho Kire. The Jury Board comprises Vilietuo Miasalhou, Thekruzoto Gwirie, Ketoulhoukho Kuotsu, Megozokho Hesielie and Rokovitso Whiso.
