Amid a world of busy circumstances, increasing materialism, humanity has been taking a back seat. Unannounced, uncalled for, yet COVID19 woken the humanity and has ushered a shift towards the acts of kindness and solidarity in this desperate times. It also puts the spotlight on the need for more aggressive and whole of society efforts to cater one another’s needs and prevent further spread of COVID-19. Together we can fight and contain the virus.
1. TO THOSE IN QUARANTINE CENTRES:
To those in quarantine centres in Nagaland and elsewhere. Even as you go through this period of uncertainty and loneliness. We are with you and praying for you all. Your time in the Q-centres is just a check against the community spread of COVID19 in future. Q-Centre is rather a place of learning, to improve your own lives and that of your families. There are hundreds of volunteers standing behind you to support and serve you in all possible ways. Praying constantly taking your concern to the Lord. Remember, God of the Bible says “So Do Not Fear, For I Am With You; Do Not Be Dismayed, For I Am Your God. I Will Strengthen You And Help You; I Will Uphold You With My Righteous Right Hand” Isaiah 41: 10. Pray and trust in the Lord for your safe passage to your homes.
2. TO ALL COVID19 PATIENTS IN DIFFERENT HOSPITALS:
God did not promise day without pain, laughter without sorrow and sunshine without rain. But He did promised strength for the day and light for the way. I don’t know if you would see this message; you might be feeling lonely and death knocking every now and then. But you are not alone. “Fear you not; for I am with you: be not dismayed; for I am your God: I will strengthen you; yes, I will help you; yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness” Deuteronomy 31:6. God is with you. If the God of the Bible can bring back death to life and storm listens to Him. Assuring you that COVID19 too will listen to our almighty God. He has the power and right. Repent, its the time to seek God’s mercy, He promised that “whoever confesses and forsakes them (the sins) shall have mercy” Proverbs 28:13. I pray that God’s mercy be upon you. Believe that the healing power of God is working in you right now. We love you so much. You are brave and looking up that you will get through it.
3. TO ALL THE FRONTLINE HEALTH CARE WORKERS:
With great respect and appreciation for your hard work and perseverance during these difficult time. Know that your kind efforts towards helping others is not overlooked. You are a hero. Thank you all for the sacrifices you make, every day and especially during this pandemic. Your dedication, commitment and courage deserve our deepest gratitude and admiration. Your service to patients is saving countless lives and making thousands of differences. Thank you for putting yourself in the way of dangers to save others. You are our Nation’s guiding lights. And “For God is not unjust so as to overlook your work and the love that you have shown for his name” Hebrews 6:10. May God keep all our frontline health workers safe and bless them.
4. TO ALL THE VOLUNTEERS:
“We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give.” Only a life lived for others is worth living. Hats off to all the volunteers as we know, you don’t have the time; but you just have the heart. And you did discovered that you have God’s gift of two hands-one for helping yourself, the other for helping others. A small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has. Seven colours makes a beautiful rainbow so do, the churches, villages and area councils, the panchayats, youth organizations, police force and many more do makes an enchanting team. Bible says: “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you” Luke 6: 38. May God give you heaven’s dew and earth’s richness for the priceless service you are rendering for the humanity and God’s Glory.
