KOHIMA, MARCH 10 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) while clearing its name from last Wednesday’s murder incident said the real killers were now in their custody. Talking to pressmen today, members of the organization said the NSCN had been wrongly implicated in the case.
Teisovi of Mima Village was reportedly murdered by Vilhoulie Rüpreo of Cheichama Village and Athapüro of Porba Village at the behest of the deceased’s wife Mükho Selie and her paramour, Kutsu who is from Zubza Village.
Teisovi was reportedly crushed to death under the weight of stones. His body was recovered by the NSCN (IM) after they pressurized the accused to lead them to where they had disposed the corpse. The body was found in a jungle below the Kohima Orphanage Home, according to an NSCN source.
The wife of the deceased had earlier reportedly spun a concocted yarn by saying that her husband had been killed by the NSCN (IM) because of his inability to pay a sum of Rs 50,000. By doing this, she was trying to cover up her heinous act, the source said.
Meanwhile, other sources said the tension which was brewing between the two villages of Mima and Zubza (respective villages of the deceased and Kutsu) had simmered after intense negotiations and with outside intervention.
