Dimapur, June 19 (MExN): KVK Phek in collaboration with ICAR-NRC on Mithun, Medziphema conducted a webinar on ‘farmer’s awareness campaign’ on balanced use of fertilizer on June 18. A presentation of balanced use of fertilizer for creating awareness among the farming community about the essential nutrients, soil health card scheme, soil testing, different organic and inorganic fertilizers, irrigation systems, crop residue management was presented and elaborated by Dr T Esther Longkumer , SS & Head I/c and CTO-Soil Science, KVK Phek. There was also an interaction session during the webinar. Scientists, technical official from icar-nrcm, officials from State Agriculture Department and NRCM, KVK staff and farmers attended the virtual programme.
