Zunheboto, August 29 (MExN): The IQAC of Zunheboto Government College in collaboration with Patent Information Centre (PIC), Nagaland State Science & Technology Council (NASTEC), Department of Science & Technology, organised a one day state level webinar on Intellectual Property Rights on August 10.
The inaugural session was chaired by Newtoli K Yeptho, Asst Prof and Secretary, IQAC, ZGC while Dr K Nishena Nekha, Principal, ZGC, delivered the welcome address, the college informed in a press release received here today.
According to the release, the resource persons for the programme were Dr Nesatalu Hiese, Scientist-D, NASTEC and Gihukali Chishi, Technical Assistant, NASTEC for the first and second technical sessions respectively. Dr Nesatalu Hiese presented an overview of intellectual property rights and Gihukali Chishi spoke on copyright and its application.
The valedictory session was chaired by Tiamenla Imsong, Asst Prof, ZGC and the valedictory speech was delivered by Dr T Chandrasekharan, HoD, Department of English & Convenor, Research Committee and the day long programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr G Phukato Sema, Asst Prof and Co-ordinator, IQAC, ZGC, the release informed.
