Welcoming the Yaruiwo- Isak Chishi Swu

It is a moment of great joy for all of us to welcoming your Excellency, the Yaruiwo Mr. Isak Chishi Swu and the first lady Mrs. Uster Chishi Swu to our Council Headquarters, Hebron, the seat of our national government, the centre of our politics and the sweet home of Naga revolutionary patriots.
We are sure that you will feel quite comfortable and homely in the land where you are born and brought up. The company of your old acquaintances, friends, dear and near ones, the view of the familiar landscapes you have frequented, the accustomed friendly climate and the joy of our healthy social environment will certainly renew your heart, rekindle your hopes, revive your mind and soul.
It is sad to say that some of our dear brothers and sisters have been martyred during your absence, some others have ran away to join forces with the adversary betraying the national cause and the leadership. However, the revolutionary spirit of the workers is still high. Rest assured that we have a good number of revolutionary people and workers faithful to the nation and the collective leadership are firmly determined to march with you in all weathers for the cherished goal. You know we are not alone. The land where the bones of our forefathers lie will ever speak for us, even animals in our land will join forces with us in defending our common home. Above all, the presence of the Lord is here with us. We have nothing to be afraid of any eventuality.
Many people of the older generations longed to see solution in their time and regretted for missing the buses in the past. By the grace of God, the finest opportunity has come again for us for solving the problem and that, all the people are looking up to the collective leadership. We cannot afford to miss the bus again.
Even though unity and reconciliation move has been the talk of every Naga, it has never come close to reality. Like a slippery eel it has always eluded us. The Nagas really need the strategy and policy of how to concretize this move once and for all so that we may focus our attention to the nation building. We know the road to unity and reconciliation is tortuous but it is not impossible. It is within our reach. Our people hope that the presence of our collective leadership will certainly rekindle the hope of unity and reconciliation.
Enemies within and without are multiplying. They have come in many shades from many prongs. Enemy in the form of faction, enemy in the form of brothers and sisters, enemy in the form of drugs and alcohol and enemy in the form of mammon are rampant in our land. The day calls for a collective wisdom with correct policy and strategy for tackling with this mountain of problem. In other word, we are badly in need of revival in all fields; revival in the church, revival in the field, revival in the market, revival in the office, revival in the school and colleges and revival everywhere. We hope your Excellency, the Yaruiwo have come today with a message of hope to deliver to the people of Nagalim. The long suppressed and oppressed Nagas need healing touch.
We praise and adore you. Your 50 years long service for the cause of the Naga nation is a classic example and an inspiration for the younger generations to learn. We praise the good Lord for taking care of your health and guiding you thus far.

Welcome home!
