Dimapur, May 27 (MExN): The Western Sümi Hoho (WSH) will hold its ‘41-U Baghi Hoho’ on May 30 at WSH Hiyam, Chekiye Village, from 10 am onwards under the theme “Peace & Unity”.
According to a statement issued by the WSH Media Cell, the programme will be graced by Sümi Hoho president Dr Vihuto Assumi as the special guest.
The gathering is being convened at the culmination of the present tenure of the Western Sümi Hoho and will deliberate on matters concerning the welfare, unity and common interests of the Sümi community.
The occasion will also mark the “change of guard” of the Hoho leadership, symbolising the transition of responsibilities and the continued commitment towards preserving peace, harmony and unity within the society, the statement said.
The WSH has extended a cordial invitation to former leaders of the Hoho, leaders of various frontal organisations under the WSH, Sümi elders, church leaders and well-wishers to attend the programme.
