Swift and effective government response:
• If the government including the administration police and judiciary give quick response in delivering punishments to offenders, then people will become aware of the need to protect children from sexual abuse. These days, police take too long in investigation. Sometimes investigation could have been made on the spot ( as journalist knows it better) but following the Indian way, an IO is assigned then he investigates after days of the same evidences available on the spot of the offence and reports, then the delays in court... and the case become cold.
• One of the reasons why child safety is neglected is because the rule of law is failing to be implemented. This is why it is so important than whenever a child's safety is compromised, the rule of law must be swiftly and effectively implemented.
• Should be caught and put in jail with stringent punishment and if the crime is against minors the culprit should be chamicaly castrate as is done in the west
Mandatory early education:
Community awareness on child safety:
• In Naga society the concept of child labour and child safety is not interpreted according to the legal definitions. Customs are still observed and followed. To overcome this gap, there must be sufficient community awareness on child safety.
Others (Please specify):
• All the above mentioned options along with every individual taking the child safety measures and responsibilities as his own duty.
• Ban pornography. Such rape cases were virtually unheard of a decade ago. However, the increasing accessibility and widespread consumption of pornography have contributed significantly to the rise in rape cases in Nagaland.
• Combined behavioural and environmental interventions-close, attentive adult supervision combined with environmental hazard reduction
• Stop using poor kids as house help
