Dear Students, As the board results are about to be declared I know what is happening inside your heart. Some of you are refreshing your phones again and again. Some of you cannot sleep. Some of you are already thinking about what your parents and relatives will say. And some of you are quietly afraid.
Afraid that your marks may not be enough. Afraid that you may disappoint the people you love. Afraid that one result will define your life.
But listen carefully. Your result is a number. Your life is a journey. No number has the power to decide your worth.
In Nagaland we have grown up hearing the same lines. Take Science if you are good. Take Arts if you are weak. Marks decide your future. But the truth is different.
There are students who scored high but feel lost today. There are students who failed once but built strong lives later. Success is not built in one exam hall. It is built in your mindset your discipline and your courage to rise again.
If your marks are high stay humble. Do not let pride destroy your character. If your marks are low stay strong. Do not let shame destroy your confidence.
To parents reading this your child does not need fear right now. Your child needs understanding. Behind every result there is a child who tried. Maybe not perfectly maybe not consistently but tried in their own way. Do not compare them. Do not break them with words they will carry for years.
Encourage them stand beside them because one moment of harshness can become a lifetime wound.
And to every student even if nobody tells you this hear it clearly. You are more than your marks. You are more than one result. You are more than one failure. Your story is still being written.
Whether you become a doctor a business owner a teacher an artist or something the world has not even imagined yet what matters is not how you start but how you continue.
So when the results come do not panic do not compare do not lose yourself. Take a deep breath face it with courage and remember this is not the end. This is just one page in your story and you still have the power to write the rest.
