Not wrapped in ribbons, gold, or cheer,
Nor worldly gifts w'ich we hold so dear,
Christmas lives where hearts are kind,
In selfless acts wit' joy & love entwin'd.
It’s found in hands t'at freely give
To help the weary smile and live,
In orphaned homes, in widows’ tears,
W'en hope's shared to calm t'eir fears.
No need for applause, no name,
No wish for glory, pride or fame,
For giving done wit' humble grace
Reflects God’s love in human face.
A visit made, a meal shared wide,
A listening ear by sorrow’s side,
A gentle word, a sincere prayer,
Lift a soul weighed down by fear.
Share a "smile", tender and small,
To bring down the sorrowed wall,
A warm “hello,” a kind embrace,
Can light up joy in time & space.
These're the gifts the world still needs,
More than traditions, lights, or creeds-
To love like our Saviour, so pure, so true,
And let His light shine thru' what we do.
So celebrate wit' hearts made new,
By loving much & serving others too;
For Christmas lives where there's love
In hearts & homes lighted from above.
