Why are there Volvo luxury bus models on NST dept website?

Is it intentional or a gaffe that the website purportedly belonging to Nagaland State Transport (NST)- http://www.nagalandstatetransports.in - features buses in the gallery section never seen in the roads of Nagaland? Or is the department actually planning to introduce these luxury coaches for the passengers of Nagaland? The NST website which appears as if it is still under construction, features images of different models of the Swedish based Volvo luxury coaches on the home page and the gallery section.  

It is clear that the images of the luxury coaches have linked from other websites, which The Morung Express can verify. Now, the question is—what purpose does the NST website hold to highlight images of buses which are not even a model or prototype of the existing NST buses plying in the State.   Everyone is aware of how the actual NST buses look like—with its stark green and beige color pattern and which is of the Tata Company manufacture.  

Besides the images of the never-seen-in-Nagaland-roads luxury coaches, the website is otherwise blank with no worthwhile information or highlights of activities undertaken by the department.  

The only information it carries in the ‘About Us’ section is a brief history plus the objectives of the department as a utility service rather than a commercial venture.  

It states that the primary objective of the department like all other S.T.U.’s in the country is to provide efficient, adequate and economic as well as co-ordinated transport facility to the people of Nagaland.  

The department website states that it presently operates 112 scheduled services throughout the state covering 21,300 scheduled kilometers daily.  

The NST department can certainly take a cue from other state transport websites like that of Assam (http://assamstatetransportcorporation.com) and Manipur (http://manipurtransport.in/), where there are bevies of helpful information, guidelines for the public and updates on activities undertaken by the concerned department.
