Why does the cabinet require an advisory committee?

The Answer to the Question raised in this Write-up is Simple: An ADVISORY COMMITTEE is often a little unholy strategy; the Bureaucracy uses to shirk, or avoid deciding itself an uncomfortable Decision. The Efficient or the Artful, use this Government or Bureaucratic strategy cunningly or sometimes wisely necessarily.

The Government of Nagaland has earlier thoughtlessly made a decision making the Rongmeis from outside Nagaland as an ‘Indigenous Tribe’ of Nagaland. As a result the Rongmei in Nagaland began to graze the green Pastures Reserved for the Native ZeLiang of Nagaland only. The Zeliang of Nagaland justifiably insisted the Government of Nagaland could not take away the Privilege Reserved for Zeliang alone in the State of Nagaland.

The Government fell into a Ditch of its own making thoughtlessly and took a long time to think and think and think but could not give a satisfactory decision. The Zeliang went to Court and the Court passed an Interim Judgment ‘staying the government decision’.

The Government could honestly ‘withdraw’ an earlier mistaken Cabinet decision: Everybody makes mistakes, the Honest honestly often have the courage to acknowledge its mistake. Nagaland had rejected ALL INDIA SERVICE IN NAGALAND initially, but during HOKISHE’s CHIEF MINISTERSHIP, that Cabinet Decision was WITHDRAWN.

The Government need no constitute an Advisory Committee to advice itself. It has its own the Wisdom.

What Advisory Committee does the Nagaland Cabinet further require to decide the Rongmei Case? Even a simple uneducated Widowed in any Village would easily say it is impertinent to share what is not due!

Nagaland has 60 elected Representative Leaders to decide for Nagaland. The State has less than 2 million populations whereas in mainland India more than a population of Nagaland selects just 1 Representative. Each Nagaland Legislative Member therefore knows his people much more thoroughly.

The whole population of Nagaland is wholly behind the ‘Interest of the Nagaland’.

Why would Nagaland Government have a Cabinet Advisory Body to Advice itself decide an Issue it already knows in its head?

i. To shift responsibility?

ii. To use in decision against the will of the People?

I hope against hope the elected Representatives would decide the Interest of future Nagaland, And they need no apology to any for that.
