28th Winter Cricket Challenge organised by Senior Noble Klan under the aegis of Nagaland Cricket Association in association with Wokha Forest Division continues after the New Year break.
In the first match, GAPYO CC won the toss and elected to bat first and set a target of 92 runs losing 6 wickets in 20 overs. While chasing the target, Abemo 33 and Jonchibemo 15 were the only batsman to reach the double figure mark and went on to win the match by 4 wickets in 14.1 overs. Abemo was adjudged the man of the match for his 33 runs Knock.
In the second match, Elite CC won the toss and elected to bat first and set a target of 147 runs, losing 8 wickets in 20 overs.
Shamwang Konyak and Sameer Ali were the top contributors with 56 and 33 runs respectively. While chasing the target, Kohima Royals were all out in 20 overs losing 9 wickets. The top scorers were Chiben Jami 15, Imkumlong 21 and Mhonbemo 15. Elite CC won the match by 60 runs. Shamwang Konyak was adjudged the Man of the Match for his 58 runs knock.
