Wokha, December 14 (DIPR): Deputy Commissioner of Wokha Rovilatuo Mor has informed that bursting crackers in the district headquarter, Wokha town, has been banned and colony authorities, police and civic bodies are to enforce the ban. The ban is clamped for reasons that crackers cause serious public disturbances as well as have negative health effects on citizens. Further, they cause law and order concerns, the distcit administration said. The issue had been deliberated upon during a security coordination meeting and other platforms with frontal public bodies. The ban will come into immediate effect and will be enforced by colony authorities, police, administration and Wokha Town Council. All citizens are requested to render outmost cooperation as well as comply with the order.
