DIMAPUR, JUNE 9 (MExN): A felicitation programme for successful HSLC students of Regimental School, DEF Wokha was held on June 9 at the office chamber of the Superintendent of Police, Wokha.
Congratulating the students, SP Wokha, Aotula T Imchen, urged them to compete themselves on a daily basis to progress in life while pointing out that there are lots of avenues in today’s world but one must work hard to achieve it.
She also stressed on the harmful effects of drugs and tobacco products on young minds and encouraged the gathering to desist from such evils, a press release received from K Edward Ngullie, Headmaster, Regimental School informed.
Additional SP & Chairman, School Governing Body, K. Soriso in his welcome address thanked everyone for their tireless efforts and congratulated all the successful candidates.
Bijano R Ngullie (who qualified with distinction in English and Social Studies) spoke on behalf of the successful candidates. The program was chaired by Mhonchumi Tsopoe, Asst Teacher and vote of thanks was pronounced by the school headmaster. Unit church leaders led by Abeno, women leader and Mhonchumi Ezung, youth director also participated in the program.
The program was attended by all the successful candidates and their parents, students of Class IX & X and teaching staff of the school. The school produced 100% pass percentage for the third consecutive year.
