WOKHA, DECEMBER 5 (MExN): The Power Department has informed consumers of Wokha Town that the distribution transformers in their colonies are fully overloaded and cannot take additional load of various types of electrical Christmas decorations. ”In order to have stable power supply and also for the safety of the overloaded transformer in your colony the esteemed consumers are hereby warned not to carry out open space Christmas decoration, heavy interior decoration, and not to use heater coil,” a press release from the Executive Engineer, Wokha Electrical Division stated. “In the event of not complying to this circular if there is any breakdown of transformer machines, the department will not be held responsible,” it added.
