Wokha, December 4 (MExN): The office of the Deputy Commissioner, Wokha, has announced a District-Level Awareness-cum-Campaign on the settlement of unclaimed deposits.
A press update informed that the campaign will be held on December 5, at 1:30 PM in the Conference Hall of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, Wokha.
The campaign is being organized as part of a nationwide initiative launched by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and the State Bank of India (SBI) to facilitate the efficient and timely settlement of unclaimed financial assets such as deposits, dividends, interest warrants, pensions, and related entitlements.
It has requested the concerned village councils, town council and GBs under Wokha district to attend the programme, to actively disseminate the information within their respective jurisdictions. The District Administration has called for the full cooperation of all stakeholders to ensure the success of this important public-oriented initiative.
