Dimapur, January 7 (MExN): The Naga Women Hoho, Sumi Totimi Hoho and Western Sumi Totomi Hoho of Dimapur are unhappy at the allegation leveled against the Deputy Commissioner of Dimapur by ‘NSCN (K)’ accusing her of ‘fund diversion.’ A note issued by the leaders of the three organizations received here has asked the armed group to stop leveling such accusations.
The organizations stated – “We the Naga Women Hoho, Sumi Totimi Hoho Nagaland and Western Sumi Totomi Hoho Dimapur express our unhappiness towards the false allegation against Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur, Mrs. Husheli Sema by N.S.C.N (K). Nagas have few lady officers particularly in the administration fraternity. We appeal to N.S.C.N (K) to desist from such accusations as it demoralizes and disheartens to perform their duties and responsibilities. Mrs. Husheli Sema is one of the lady officers, who is honest, simple and upright personality.”
The organizations reminded that the Naga people are striving for peace and reconciliation. “People are fervently praying for peace in Nagaland. Women are crying and praying for peace as in all situations women and children are the worst to suffer. Kindly pay heed to our prayer and wishes by using Gods given super and rare wisdom,” the women organizations added.
