ELDERS/PASTORS (NBCC and in all the respective Churches in Nagaland)
Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. As I write this message to you all, do remember me in prayer for I am weak and depending only on our Lord Jesus Christ grace (2 Corinthians 12:9).
Few thoughts if at all it matters to our LORD Jesus Christ.
1. Our God is a jealous God (Deuteronomy 6:14-15) 2. There is no other God beside our God (Jeremiah 2:10-13) 3. Our God is the true God (Jeremiah 10:10-13)
Now coming to the point:- 1. If the NBCC and the ELDERS/PASTORS forum declare a statement with regard to BJP party since many Christians NAGAS are joining, I believe Christians NAGAS people will realise that they have committed evil.
Christians should not yoke with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6: 14-18); but many Christians nagas have even traded our GOD with other god as though there is one.
Since it is all in their official website, whatever they say is of less weightage, and if at all they mean it they should declare in their official website in written to re-assure the people.
Christians NAGAS should know that it is not the problem of the BJP PARTY or the HINDU as a religion per se, but the sole problem of the CHRISTIAN PEOPLE.
Christians have no issue with what HINDU people belief about Hinduism, or Hindu people belief about other religion/faith.
Christians should never compromise their Christian faith, which belief on absolute truth. Christians may compromise human tradition/culture but should never compromise their Christian faith. Christian should never share our God with other god as though there is one.
When Christians become a part of BJP PARTY they accept/share/agree with their belief/ideology which in turn compromise their Christian faith.
Christians should not be confuse with development/good governance agenda and this should not led Christians away from their Christian faith. Yes that is to be desired but it should be secondary.
Majority Christian NAGAS are ignorant about BJP PARTY and if this message is to be conveyed to all the Christians Nagas inhabited area, I believe it will be helpful.
2. NBCC and the ELDERS/PASTORS (Hebrew 13:17), you all are our real leaders whom GOD has appointed to watch over our soul.
Do not get bogged down or get discouraged with all the criticisms people throwing at you.
Let people throw all the dirt on you but for God sake do not be shaken/moved, for if the foundations are destroyed what can the righteous do (Psalm 11:3; Acts 5:29).
You are at the frontline, be bold and courageous (Proverbs 28:1; Galatians 1).
Though we cannot give you anything that can be compared with the role you people are playing, protecting our soul, we are praying for you that God will make you more bolder/courageous and bless you with more knowledge and wisdom and let His face shine upon you.
ELDERS/PASTORS help the Christians Nagas people in letting their identity in JESUS CHRIST shine; let this be the first priority and not the other worldly identity which many Christians Nagas are striving and honestly letting them away from GOD, thus not living for Gods glory.
Christians nagas are living in a very difficult time (evil time), and you the Elders/pastors has a great role to play, to bring glory to GOD.
NBCC and the ELDERS/PASTORS; be it NNPGS, MINISTERS/MLA, and the BUREAUCRATS; to those at the power corridor doing all the evil things; be bold and courageous to tell them to desist from such evil practice.
Remember, we are with you when you feel like bogged down/giving up; remember GOD is with you, He will be your strength.
Remember, when you feel like taking a break/rest; your brother and sisters in Christ; their soul is in danger and you have to shepherd them to the Home that is to be with our God.
