Kohima, September 29 (DIPR): The State Government has constituted the Work Charged and Causal Employees Commission with CJ Ponraj, Principal Secretary Justice & Law as Chairman, GW Lee, Consultant (Finance) as Member and Engineer-in-Chief (Works & Housing) as Member Secretary.
The Commission may co-opt the Heads of Departments where the Commission may be called upon to exercise powers and functions in respect of the department. The Commission has the power to consider the need of any particular department having work charged establishment for creation of limited number of posts and by notification, may adopt regulation of procedure as may be considered necessary for performing its functions. The Commission may hold hearing at any other place as may be considered necessary and shall submit its report and recommendations as may be considered reasonable to the concerned department for obtaining the approval of the Cabinet.
