Workers at Nagaland Medical College construction site get vaccinated 

Kohima, July 5 (MExN): Harqdarshak, a social enterprise, in collaboration with the Department of Health & Family Welfare organised a COVID-19 vaccination drive for the Medical College construction site workers on July 3.  A total of 132 workers received their 1st dose during the drive, informed a press release from Yapangsangla Lkr, Senior Operations Coordinator, Haqdarshak, Nagaland.

Haqdarshak simultaneously assisted the interested workers in applying for the Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY), a Union government-backed life insurance scheme, it said.  Described as a ‘social enterprise,’ the release informed that Haqdarshak “acts as a bridge in delivering central schemes to eligible citizens” and operating in 20 States including Nagaland, the newest addition. 

“We are currently working in partnership with Entrepreneurs Associates Nagaland and Acumen for a project on MSME documents and schemes for entrepreneurs,”  the release informed.  In addition, we are also working in collaboration with the PANI organization called PANI project all over the country including Nagaland, which focuses on availing and assisting Migrant workers and urban workers for COVID vaccination and PMJJBY scheme for 18-50 yrs, it added.
