Kohima, February 15 (DIPR): With a view to create awareness on Information Security and Cyber Forensic, the Department of Information Technology & Communication, in association with Regional Institute of e-learning and Information Technology (RIELIT) Kohima will be organizing an Awareness cum workshop on Cyber Forensics on February 17 and 18 at RIELIT, New High Court Road, Meriema Kohima.
The workshop would cover basics on Information Security, Threats and Vulnerabilities, Cyber Crime and also facilitate participation in utilization of various tools and technologies used for protection of information, networks and system. The workshop would also highlight Cyber Forensic Investigation Procedure and Methodology deployed to maintain the integrity of digital evidence, along with demonstrations.
Chief Secretary to the Government of Nagaland, Lalthara, IAS has in a circular requested all Administrative Heads of Departments and Heads of Departments to attend the workshop/nominate respective IT nodal officers or Middle level Officers to attend the workshop. Registration will start at 9:30 hrs on February 17 and the inaugural session will start at 10 a.m.
