The World Music Day event in Dimapur will take place on June 21 at Green Park, 5th Mile. Entry will be free after 4:00pm onward and start at 5:00pm.
The event will be organised by the following partners: Event Partner-Sky Entertainment, Love Easts events; Gear-Crescendo events; Light-Shiu Lights; Artistes-Soloist Work Station, Infinity Inc; Sound-BN Sound; Print-MI Printers; District Partners-Dimapur TaFMA, Niuland TaFMA, in association with TaFMA.
This year, in honour of World Music Day, music industry from Dimapur is organising a series of events, performances, and initiatives aimed at inspiring a deeper appreciation for the diverse musical traditions that exist worldwide.
A press release from the organizers said that their goal is to create a platform that celebrates cultural exchange and promotes the discovery of new sounds and rhythms from around the globe. “We invite everyone to join us in celebrating World Music Day. Whether you are a seasoned musician, an avid listener, or someone exploring music for the first time, we encourage you to embrace this day as a reminder of the extraordinary power music holds to connect and inspire us all,” it added.
Further, the organisers said that “by prohibiting the use of alcohol inside the Park, it allows attendees of all ages to feel comfortable and secure, and enables parents and guardians to confidently bring their children to our events, knowing that they will be in a safe and alcohol-free environment.”
The event, it stated, will feature some prominent artistes and bands from all over Nagaland.
