Dimapur, November 30 (MExN): The Western Sumi Totimi Hoho (WSTH) organized a programme on ‘Total Sanitation Campaign’ at Kuhuboto and Niuland on November 25 and 28 respectively. The event was sponsored by PHED, government of Nagaland.
The resource persons of the campaign were K. Ahimsa Zhimo, president, WSTH and Jolly K. Aomi, general secretary WSTH. P. Khetoi Sema, Executive Engineer, Rural Division, Dimapur shared the objective of the programme. He also appealed to the participants to cultivate and promote work culture and develop civic sense to live a hygienic way of life. Mrs. Jolly delivered a lecture on “good sanitary practices”. Mrs. Ahimsa stressed on “importance of sanitation for good community health”.
Hotolu Swu, ADC Niuland grace the programme at Niualnd as chief guest while Zakabo Rotokha, SDO Kuhuboto exhorted the programme at Kuhuboto. Presidents and secretaries of all local STH, Anganwadi workers, church women leaders and women members of VDB, VEC and WATSAN attended the programme.
