Dimapur, April 2 (MExN): The Western Sumi Youth Front (WSYF) has issued a statement on recent police action in connection with multiple criminal cases, including abduction, sexual assault, extortion and robbery.
A press release from the WSYF said that the Dimapur Police arrested an accused from Bengaluru in connection with a case dating back to July 22, 2024, involving charges of abduction, sexual assault, extortion and robbery.
The WSYF also referred to the case of abduction of Kiyeto Zhimomi, HD GB of Vikuho village, which occurred on January 19, 2026. The accused persons in the case were apprehended by the Dimapur Police.
In the statement, the WSYF said such actions indicate continued investigation and enforcement efforts in serious criminal cases.
