Kohima, June 25 (MExN): The Yachem Bühü Pangthai (Yachem Baptist Church) organised a felicitation programme in honour of Themmei Phom, HSLC Top 18 and Baunennyuchong, HSSLC Top 5 (Science Stream) under NBSE.
In a function held at Yachem village on June 24, Sangti Phom, Head Barrick, Yachem village encouraged the toppers to carry forward their achievement to higher level and be an asset for Yachem, Phom and Nagas in general.
Khatak Phom spoke on behalf of Lt M Chenlom Phom Foundation family. Presidents of Yachem Bühü staff Pangthai, Yachem Anüti Lunglak (YAL) and Yachem Students’ Union also spoke on the occasion.
Lt M Chenlom Phom Foundation Award and Certificates of Excellence and Appreciation were presented to the achievers by Yachem Council, Yachem Baptist Church, Noksosang Baptist Attoi, Yachem Bühü Staff Pangthai, Anüti Lunglak Yachem and Longleng, Kohima and Longleng Yachem Bühü Unions, Dimapur Yachem Students Union, Mokho Young Club and Rising Club.
Yachem Students’ Union while presenting the Certificate of Excellence to the two toppers had also presented a Certificate of Recognition to Government High School, Yachem for producing 100% HSLC result under NBSE.
Themmei Phom and Baunennyuchong thanked the Yachem Bühü Pangthai for organising a felicitation programme and acknowledging their achievement. The Church Boards of Yachem and Noksosang Baptist Attoi prayed for more of blessings and guidance for the duo. The programme was chaired by Phomlei and concluded with prayer by Rev M Adao, Pastor of Yachem Baptist Church.
