Dimapur, July 1 (DIPR): The Commissioner & Secretary of Co-operation, Bijaya Chettri inaugurated the Office building of Yimsean Livelihood Development Society at Darogapathar, Dimapur on June 30.
In her inaugural speech, the chief guest lauded the society members for their noble task and wished them success in future. Emphasizing on society in Nagaland, Bijaya felt that the youth should take up challenges to work with commitment, sincerity, and dedication to bring about a change in the society. She said that our State have many natural resources where any ventures can be taken up in various fields and further lauded the villagers for their various undertakings in the Horticulture Sector which has great potentials. She also urged upon the people to come forward and try to contribute towards the economic progress of the State without depending on Government plans, schemes, projects etc. “We require commitment from our people and the youth to bring a change in our society as well as our State” she added.
The function was chaired by Director YLDS, Sashank while welcomes address was given by Associate Director YLDS, Tiala and Profile of YLDS (2010-11) was presented by Lipok Jamir. Short speeches were given by P.K. Mishra, Assistant Director MSME and Aolemba, Chairman, CCDS. Earlier Rev. Lanuyanger Pastor Ao Baptist Church Darogapathar pronounced the dedicatory prayer for the new office.
