Yuva Ustav prog held at DGC

Dimapur, March 18 (MExN): A Yuva Ustav programme with the theme, "National Unity and Solidarity,”under the Union Ministry of Youth and Sports, Government of India was conducted at the Dimapur Govt College (DGC) on March 15 along with 180 districts across the country.  

The Nehru Yuva Kendra Dimapur collaborated with the District Administration and DGC to conduct the programme.
According to the State DIPR, various exhibitions were conducted and winners were given cash award and certificates at the event. 

Among others, K Chunchun from DGC won the Declamation talent hunt while Almina Bebe from Unity College won photography talent hunt.

Imlijungla Aier from Livingston Foundation International won the young writers talent hunt in the category of poem while DGC’s Arthonthung T Yanthan won Young artists talent hunt - painting competition. 

The cultural festival award also won by DGC. 

All the winners will be participating in the state and National level competition, the report said. 

Deputy Commissioner Dimapur, Sachin Jaiswal was the inaugural guest while Sanjay Sharma, Principal DGC & Lalhai Singson Secretary EU DGC delivered welcome address and innovation prayer respectively.
