DIMAPUR, APRIL 3 (MExN): Zakiesato Memorial Hr Sc School beat Nehal Cricket Academy at the final to win the U-16 Inter-School cum District Selection Cricket Tournament, Dimapur which concluded on April 2.
Winning the toss, Zakiesato Memorial HSS elected to bat and scored 176/6 in 20 overs
Chasing the target, Nehal Cricket Academy was all out for 153 runs in 18.3 overs.
Altogether, 10 teams participated in the tournament which was held at the Dimapur District State Council stadium under the aegis of Nagaland Cricket Association. NCA tournament committee Member Ahidur Rahman was the guest of honour at the closing ceremony.
The Best Discipline team was awarded to Little Star Hr Sec School, Best bowler to Gaurav (St. Mary Hr Sec School), Best Batsman to Chand Nadaf (Nehal Cricket Academy), Best Wicket Keeper to Shyerinlo (Nehal Cricket Academy) and Man of the Series to Shivam (Zakiesato Memorial Hr Sec School).
