Dimapur, April 12 (MExN): Advisor for Urban Development and Municipal Affairs, Zhaleo Rio (IAS Retd), inspected projects undertaken under SASCI and maintenance schemes for the financial years 2024–25 and 2025–26 in Chumoukedima and Dimapur districts on April 10 and 11.
The inspection was carried out along with officials of the Urban Development Department.
On April 10, the advisor visited the proposed Nagaki City at Chathe Valley and projects under Medziphema, expressing satisfaction with the quality and progress of works undertaken.
On April 11, he inspected various road projects in Chumoukedima and Dimapur, including a faecal sludge treatment plant under construction at Shuzokhu.
During the visit, Rio directed department officials and contractors to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality workmanship.
He said more such inspection visits would be undertaken across the state to ensure proper execution and quality of ongoing development works.
