Dimapur, April 24 (MExN): The Zeliang Students’ Union Nagaland (ZLSUN) convened its third executive council meeting at Ngwalwa Village Council hall, Peren District April 23.
During the meeting, several pertinent issues and agendas including the forthcoming 61st Anniversary celebration were thoroughly discussed and deliberated, the ZLSU Media Cell informed in a press release on Sunday. The 61st Anniversary celebration is scheduled to be held on May 27 in Peren town.
As unanimously resolved by the council, the ZLSU informed all the federating units to get themselves affiliated with the Union by paying a membership fee of Rs 500 as mentioned in Article 5 of the ZLSU constitution, before the anniversary celebration.
The Union also expressed gratitude and appreciation to the host village Ngwalwa for its thoughtfulness stating that it has become a springboard for the Union in its efforts for the welfare of the people of Peren district.
