Dimapur, May 12 (MExN): The Zeliang People’s Organisation, Nagaland (ZPO (N)) today issued a “clarification” stating that “Zeliangrong Baudi Nagaland at the most is a social organisation and at its best may have liberty to form or craft any opinion on any issue yet it is not a legitimate body to direct the native people of the state of Nagaland.” ZPO (N) stated this in response to Zeliangrong Baudi Nagaland’s (ZBN) directive to its frontal organizations to refrain from participating in the May 13 NTC Rally in Dimapur.
In this regard, ZPO (N) Media Cell told all concerned that “ZPO (N) and its constituent organisations are under no obligation to comply with the far-fetched directive of Zeliangrong Baudi Nagaland not to attend the proposed May 13 Public Rally organised under the aegis of Nagaland Tribes Council (NTC).”
ZPO (N) further appealed for utmost solidarity and called upon “the native people of the state of Nagaland to come and participate in the rally to support the cause of the Nagas of Nagaland.”
